Aisavdun Zainalovich Naumetov — a soldier of the Armed Forces of the USSR, a veteran of the war in Afghanistan, junior sergeant, BMP commander. He was born on January 19, 1961 in Druzhba village, Alakol region, now Kaskeleng district, Kazakhstan.
Naumetov was drafted into the army in July 1979 through the Kaskeleng military commissariat, and from December of the same year he was sent to the Afghan front.. On September 20-21, 1980, while on patrol, he determined the position of the enemy and conveyed his decision to the commander. During the conflict, he was seriously injured and died bravely. He was awarded the Order of the Red Star, a well-deserved high award for his bravery. In addition, the former "Dachnaya" street in the Auezov district of Almaty city was named in his honor as a street named after Naumetov. This street serves as a memorial to him.
